Former teacher of Textiles. I dabble in all things "needlecraft" a sort of 'Jack of all trades'. At the moment it's patchwork and quilting that I am experimenting with and soon I hope to weave!
I class myself as a closet poet, having written since the age of 15, I'm now 66. I became part of Lancashire Dead Good Poets in June 2014 when I decided to join a workshop and have a rest from hillwalking. Luckily I had 4 pieces chosen for the publication 'Walking on Wyre' and was invited to recite one of these on Radio Lancashire.
